Las Minas

Places to See

The prosperity of Mazarrón in days gone by was built on it's mining industry, which started to be run down in the 1930s and nowadays all that is left are the ruins of the workings. They can be accessed from the road leading down into Mazarrón Town, on the right hand side, where ther is a parking space and a Tourist Info board, or by going into the turn by Llamadas Chimineas shop further down (into Calle de Cotero) and climbing the hill (up Calle de Marin Baldo), before parking the car in Calle Santa Lucia and proceeding on foot. This way, you can see some wonderful views over Mazarrón Town.Follow the link for a map.
